Grand Haven trailed 2-1 at the end of the first period, but scored three consecutive goals to take a 4-2 lead in the third period.
The Bucs held a 37-34 advantage in shots. Goalie Zach Kooi made 31 saves while Kentwood’s Zack Casavant stopped 33 shots.
Austin Way, Tom Zelenka and Doug Zelenka each provided assists for Grand Haven, which is now 10-2 on the season.
Grand Haven hosts Forest Hills Northern/Eastern in an O-K Tier I conference showdown on Wednesday at The Edge Ice Arena in Holland.
