Johnson connected on 13-of-19 shots from the floor and was 5-of-6 from the free throw line. He also grabbed 10 rebounds.
“He played phenomenal,” said Lakers’ coach Bill Core, whose team ended a three-game losing skid and is now 3-4 on the year. “He was in one of those zones. He was able to get into the lane for a lot of those 6-footers.”
Michael Zietlow also had a big night for the Lakers, scoring 16 points to go with his six assists. Logan Pellegrom added seven points, nine rebounds and three assists. Adam Clauss scored 10 points for the Lakers.
