GH boys bowlers continue to roll

Grand Haven's varsity boys bowling team continued to knock down the competition, scoring a 29-1 victory over Grandville on Monday.

The Buccaneers took all 10 Baker points with scores of 178 and 235 for a total of 373. Grandville’s Baker game scores were 171 and 173 for a total of 344.

In match play, the Bucs’ John Morehouse was on fire as he rolled games of 254 and 236. Kaleb Schmidt bowled a 231 game, while Nick Laird had a 229 and a 191.

Justin White threw a 214; Shamar Stailey rolled a 204; Zach Gargano added a 203; Steven Heyboer recorded a 200 game; and Nate Hix rolled a 191.

The Bucs finished with 2,153 total pins to Grandville’s 1,827.

Grand Haven is now 5-0 on the season.
