Prep hoops roundup: WMC girls blast rival Tri-Unity Christian

A balanced scoring attack helped Western Michigan Christian cruise to a 52-22 River Valley Conference win Thursday at host Wyoming Tri-Unity Christian.

The win puts the Lady Warriors at 5-0 at the halfway point of the River Valley Conference schedule as well as 10-1 overall.


Fruitport Calvary Christian used a dominating second half to pull away from Kalamazoo Heritage Christian on Thursday, winning 63-37.

Fruitport Calvary led by just eight points, 33-25 at the half, then outscored Kalamazoo Heritage 30-12 in the second half.

Mark Carlson and Guthrie Collins each had 16 points for Calvary Christian.
