GH, SL skiers excel at Cannonsburg

Grand Haven's varsity girls ski team continued to perform well, and Spring Lake also had a strong showing at Friday's Greater Grand Rapids Ski Conference race at Cannonsburg.

The Buccaneers’ girls won the giant slalom, led by Brittney Olds’ third-place finish. Spring Lake was eighth, led by Nora Reed, who placed second.

In the slalom, the Bucs were third, with Allison Price leading the way in third place. Spring Lake took 10th in the slalom, led by Shelby Komar’s 29th-place finish.

Grand Haven’s boys took fifth in the giant slalom event, with Lukas Walling placing 18th. Spring Lake was sixth, led by Collin Roberts, who turned in a ninth-place finish.

The Lakers took fifth in the slalom, keyed by Harrison Palmer’s sixth-place finish. Grand Haven was sixth in the slalom, with Lukas Walling coming in at 22nd.
