Double-doubles spark Calvary Christian

A trio of double-doubles helped Fruitport Calvary Christian score a 69-37 win over Wyoming Potter's House on Tuesday.

Mike Warren led the way with 20 points and 10 rebounds, while Patrick Asdell contributed 17 points and 17 boards. Guthrie Collins added 15 points and 13 rebounds for the Eagles, who are now 10-2 overall and 8-2 in league play.

Calvary Christian limited Potter House’s Patrick Barnhart to just eight points. Barnhart, the defending league player of the year, averages over 20 points on the season.

SL FRESHMEN GIRLS WIN

Spring Lake improved to 10-1 on the season with a 46-21 over Sparta on Tuesday.

Kelsey Zuidema had 16 points, eight rebounds and three steals for the Lakers.

Randi Rice added 10 points, seven boards and five steals, while Ayna Gordon chipped in with six points and seven rebounds.
