SL bowling teams swept by Ludington

Spring Lake's club bowling teams were swept by rival Ludington on Tuesday.

The Lakers’ girls were dealt a 20.5-9.5 loss by the Orioles.

In match play, Spring Lake earned points from Amanda Dixon’s 140 game, a 134 effort from Kayce Goll, a 112 game from Gretta Nyboer, and a half point from Elinor Adams.

Spring Lake scored six points in the baker format, and it beat Ludington 136-81 in Game 1, and in overall pins, 260-235.

In the boys’ competition, the Lakers were handed a narrow defeat by Ludington, 16-14.

Spring Lake scored two points from Dan Zwart’s games of 209 and 217 in match play, as well as a point from Seth Kriger following his 176 game and another point from Josh Dixon after his impressive 254 game.
