The Lakers scored an 8-0 win over East Kentwood, then came up short in tough losses to Forest Hills Eastern, 5-3, and Petoskey, 6-2.

Petoskey was perfect on the afternoon, including a 7-1 win over Forest Hills Eastern.

Yoshanis and Wagasky were the only Lakers’ to pull out a win against Forest Hills Eastern as they hung on for a 7-6 (4), 4-6, 10-4 win.

The Lakers won all eight flights in straight sets against East Kentwood.

Ryan Fedewa, Stuart Velarde, Kasey Panyard and Craig Platt all cruiced in their singles matches.

Johnson and Davis won at No. 1 doubles, while Brenden Peel and Josh Colewon at No. 2 and Patrick Wang and Trevor Zenas came out on top at third doubles.

Yoshonis and Wagasky wrapped up a perfect day with a 6-1, 6-0 score.
