It was the last competition in a total of 16 across the state. Local skaters who participated were Aubrey Cohoon, Hadley France, Andrea Gardner, Abbe Grevious, Kennedy Hosman, Emily Kurtz, Mackenna Pratt, Megan Quigg and Allison Tate.

After the cumulative points were totaled throughout the entire season of competition, the club was awarded a third-place finish and a plaque to honor their achievement.

Among those that competed in Midland, several participants received top honors for cumulative points for the season. That group includes 6-year-old Kennedy Hosman of Spring Lake, who attends Holmes Elementary School. She took third place in Basic Skills 1.

MacKenna Pratt, 7, of Muskegon, who attends Muskegon Catholic Central Elementary, took first place in Basic Skills 3 Compulsory Division and second in Basic Skills 3 Free Skate Division.

Spring Lake’s Hadley France, a Holmes Elementary student, received second place in Limited Beginner Compulsory Division and second place in Limited Beginner Free Skate Division.
