Grand Haven business MACkite will be hosting what it hopes is the first of an annual film festival at the Ski Bowl at Mulligan’s Hollow.
The “shrEdit Film Fest” will be held on Saturday and is open to the public. MACkite is looking for local and regional films of snowboarders and skiers to be submitted. The grand prize winner of the festival will be awarded a year snowboarding sponsorship worth over $1,000.
The event opens up to registered riders and filmmakers at 6:30 p.m., for hiking and other features in front of the ski lodge. Films will be shown starting at 7 p.m., with free pizza offered.
For more information on the event, visit the festival’s website at www.mackiteboarding.com/shrEdit/. For additional questions, contact Nathan Patterson at 616-607-9355 or Steve Negen at 864-7501.
