Games will go on

Despite the fact that area schools are cancelled because of the snow today, tonight’s varsity girls basketball state tournament games will be played as scheduled.

At Grand Haven, the Buccaneers will host the Class A district semifinals. The Bucs take on Mona Shores at 6 p.m., and Muskegon faces Kenowa Hills at 8.

At Whitehall, Spring Lake will tangle with the host Vikings at 6 p.m., followed by Orchard View at Oakridge at 7:30.
