Eight NFL teams were represented at Western Michigan football's annual Pro Day with 11 former Broncos that played their last snaps in 2012 competing.

Along with the 11 seniors who most recently completed their eligibility, Mario Armstrong, Chleb Ravenell and Dallas Walker also worked out for the pro scouts.

Representing their respective teams were the Cincinnati Bengals, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Arizona Cardinals, Indianapolis Colts, New York Jets, Detroit Lions, New Orleans Saints and Pittsburgh Steelers.  The Bengals and Jets also had their QB coaches in attendance to get a better look at Alex Carder.

Carder performed very well during the skill drills, throwing every route imaginable to Blake Hammond, Ravenell, Eric Monette and Flenard Whitfield.

Monette and Paul Hazel had the best day on the broad jump, each jumping over 10 feet.  Freddie Bishops impressed on the vertical jump with a best of 37 inches and also led the way on bench with 30 reps of 225 lbs.  John Deyo hoisted the bar 28 times and Dann O'Neill had 26 reps.

One of O'Neill's 40-yard dash times was clocked unofficially at 5.44 but for offensive lineman, it is the first 10-yard split that gains most of the attention from scouts.  Hazel ran in the 4.56 to 4.77 range but an official time was not obtained from the scouts.

Ravenell dazzled in the pass catching drills, hauling in one acrobatic grab after the other.  He had three down field, over-the-shoulder grabs that caught the attention of all in attendance.

Athletes in attendance will continue to work out and await the NFL Draft in late April.  All not drafted will look to sign as undrafted free agents immediately following the final selection on that Sunday afternoon.
