A fierce wind caused the Grand Haven Offshore Challenge committee to cancel Day 2 of the two-day event on Sunday.

That meant KC 1 Sportfishing Charters of Muskegon, which caught 12 fish for a total of 86.85 pounds and 206.85 points, claimed top honors in the Pro Division of the event.

KC 1 is captained by Jason Coslow of Eaton Rapids.

"The winds just swept everyone away, so we didn't finish up on Sunday," said Tricia Todd, an Offshore Challenge committee member.

Winn N Angel, a boat out of St. Joseph, took runner-up honors. The boat also hauled in 12 fish, good for 80.8 pounds. Winn N Angel finished with 200.8 points.

The amateur division at the Challenge was won by Grimm Reaper, which caught nine fish for a total of 79.35 pound, good for 169.35 points.

Danel edged out ThunderDuck Too, 120 points to 113.15, to win the pro Ladies & Kids tournament.

Fishn Machine won the amateur event with 80.55 points.
