Warriors coach Ed Bailey said that he thought the Eagles had a chance to make it to the state finals if they continued to play like that the rest of the way.

Schoolcraft defeated WMC 25-19, 25-16, 25-21.

Bailey said the Warriors weren’t used to such a fast-paced offense, and that his team struggled with it’s serving Thursday night.

The second-year coach said that no one would have predicted his squad would have made it all the way to the regional final, and that each and every one of his seniors has improved greatly over the last two seasons.

Maria Ma, who the Eagles keyed in on, led the Warriors with 24 kills and 14 digs. Ashley Oosterhouse chipped in with 25 assists, and Emma Rudd added 11 digs.
