Smith’s monster night leads WMC boys past Kent City

Warriors' girls fall to Kent City

Western Michigan Christian’s varsity boys basketball squad won at Kent City on Monday, 83-69.

The score was close until the final quarter, with WMC leading 20-15 at the first stop, 39-35 at halftime and 64-58 going into the final period.

The Warriors’ Bernard Smith had another monster game with 31 points and 20 rebounds.  Sophomore James Godwin added 14 points and Jacob Ray scored 13.


Host Western Michigan Christian’s girls basketball team fell to a talented Kent City team Monday night, 53-25.

Alyssa Wright led the Warriors with seven points.
