Prout is currently the captain of her club team, the Grand Rapids Crew ’97 Midwest Regional League squad that is coming off its State Cup championship this past year.

Prout began her soccer career locally, playing for the Tri-Cities Strikers, before moving on to the Grand Rapids Crew.

Prout has also been a member of the Michigan Olympic Development team and was invited to the National Olympic Development Program Camp in Florida.

At the high school level, Prout played as a freshman on Grand Haven’s varsity team, before transferring to Spring Lake. There, she helped the Lakers reach the Division 2 state semifinals last spring.

Alex is the daughter of David and Kathy Prout of Grand Haven.

How come she transferred to Spring Lake?

None of your business. Since when does a reason for a high school student's decision to transfer become public information? Short answer: It doesn't.

Well. It was just a question. It was in the article that she transferred after only one year at GH. You were obviously offended for some reason by it. Very odd..
