The Grand Haven boys wrestling team was down four points heading into its last matchup against Forest Hill Central in the Division 1 regional semifinal at Caledonia on Wednesday.

Camden Bertucci got the technical fall win with four seconds remaining, securing the five points points the Buccaneers needed to win in thrilling fashion, 35-34.

Grand Haven was unable to find the same magic in the finals against O-K Red Conference foe Grandville though. The Bulldogs ended the Bucs' season, 37-24.

"I'm really proud of my kids in the first dual, upsetting Forest Hills Central and putting ourselves in position for the finals," said coach James Richardson. "We just came up short."

Bertucci, Aaron Cummings, Antonio Reyes, Dakota Juarez, Connor Morley and Chase VanHoef will continue their season at the Division 1 individual regional at Rockford on Saturday.
