Muskegon Catholic Central saw its state tournament run come to an end in Monday’s Class D regional semifinals as the Crusaders lost to Fulton-Middleton, 71-53.
Fulton-Middleton used a big second quarter — outscoring MCC 19-8 — to take a commanding 37-21 halftime lead.
Adam Callow led Muskegon Catholic Central (10-11) with 17 points, while Lamar Jordan III had 13 and Erik VanFossen scored 12.
Colton Antes and Nathan Davis each scored 17 for Fulton-Middleton (21-2), which advances to face Mt. Pleasant Sacred Heart in Wednesday’s regional championship game.
