Haven girls lacrosse wins big

Grand Haven’s varsity girls lacrosse team improved to 3-0 on the year with a 24-1 victory over Comstock Park on Wednesday.

Savannah Albright and Anna Gagnon each had two goals and four assists for the Bucs. Katie Harding added two goals and three assists, while Olivia Saber added two goals and one assist.

Emily Betten, Courtney Hylock and Maddie Nass each scored twice, and Claire Reenders chipped in with a goal and three assists.

Single goals were scored by Mekenzie Anderson, Madalyn Hanson, Michaela Andrini, Ali Lawson, Maddie Bryant, Savannah Tallman, Kylee Kowalski, Anya Berghoef and Allison Marshall.

The Bucs finished with a 31-3 advantage in shots. Jenna Jalving stopped two of the three shots she faced.

Junior Varsity: Grand Haven knocked off Spring Lake, 7-4. Brooke Lonergan scored four goals while Jess McFadden, Libby Plowman and Laura Reuterdahl each scored a goal.
