Tri-Cities celebrates America's birthday

FERRYSBURG — The sky was overcast but the patriotic spirit shined brightly at the Fourth of July parade in Ferrysburg. The parade from the former Ferrysburg Elementary School property wound down Third Street and Pine Street for nearly an hour Saturday morning.

ROTHBURY — Deep in the woods of the Rothbury music festival, sometimes you have to look away from the stage to find the real show. Seemingly out of nowhere, a troupe of hula-hoopers may start twirling around you or a giant on bouncy stilts will loom large overhead.
