Arnold Bethke, 93, of Spring Lake died Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at Heartwood Lodge.
Arrangements are being handled by Young Funeral Home of Muskegon.

As a neighbor of both Arnie (and his late wife,Garnetta), I was sorry to learn of his passing. I had many enjoyable moments talking with Mr.Bethke over the years, usually down by the beach at the end of our street. He was a knowledgeable and pleasant man. Rob Michmerhuizen
