Female student hit by bus on GVSU campus

A female student was taken to the hospital this morning after being hit by a bus on the campus of Grand Valley State University.

The accident happened shortly after 7 a.m. at the intersection of South Campus Drive and West Campus Drive. The student was crossing the road and was hit by a Rapid bus.

Police said she suffered minor injuries.

The GVSU Police Department is handling the investigation.
