Fire at SLT business

Firefighters were called to the report of a fire at Casting Technologies in Spring Lake Township shortly before 5 p.m. today.

Smoke was showing as firefighters arrived and the building was evacuated.

The preliminary investigation indicated that the fire was in the building's ceiling fans.

Casting Technologies is on Apple Drive, just east of Fruitport.
