A total of 51 children ages 9-14 took part in the Hershey Track Meet at Lakeshore Middle School in Grand Haven on May 17. The meet, which is in its 35th year, was presented by the Northwest Ottawa Recreation Program. Children competed in the 50-, 100-, 200-, and 400-dashes, the 800- and 1,600-meter runs, a 400-meter relay, standing long jump and softball throw.
