GH students seriously injured in I-96 crash

(UPDATED: 10:50 p.m.) Five Grand Haven High School students were in a car that crashed on Interstate 96 as they drove to the girls semifinal basketball game at the Breslin Center in East Lansing earlier today. Involved in the single-vehicle crash were Emily Bogner, 16; Madison Case, 17; Hannah DeVecht, 17; Danielle Michaels, 16; and Brittney Olds, 16.

Teen opportunities hit new heights

The participants in this year's Leadership Connect class are hoping to help area teens reach new heights with a new youth activity center. The group is planning to build a $35,000 teen center at the Tri-Cities Family YMCA that will include a 20-foot climbing wall, games and other skill-building activities.
