David of Fruitport asked, "When was the last confirmed sighting of a beaver on Spring Lake? After seeing a beaver swim by my dock several times, I finally confirmed it as a beaver as it was chewing on a branch and had his paddle tail up out of the water for confirmation."
The Tri-Cities Kiwanis Club hosted special needs students from White Pines Intermediate School, their teachers and the fellow students from the Power of Peer Support (POPS) to a day of fun at Spring Lake Aquatic Center.
After months of hard work, Holmes Elementary School fourth-graders launched the rockets they built in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (S.T.E.M.) class. Students also participated in an annual Bocce Ball Tournament on Friday.
