Grand Haven varsity boys basketball coach Steve Hewitt has stressed it before and he voiced the same dilemma Tuesday evening: The biggest challenge his inexperienced squad will face this season is playing consistent on a nightly basis.

BOYS JUNIOR VARSITY Grand Haven suffered a 57-50 loss at the hands of Rockford. Isaac Newhouse had 10 points while Connor Grimes scored 10 to go wtih seven rebounds. Marcus Tumblin pulled down 10 boards for the Bucs.

Local church’s supper club demonstrates healthy eating

About 80 people attended a new supper club's meeting Tuesday night to eat a nutritious meal and hear a presentation by Hudsonville author JoAnn Rachor. The meeting at the Grand Haven Seventh-day Adventist Community Center was the third for the congregation's Living Healthy Supper Club, and Rachor had attracted a capacity crowd.
