A downtown Grand Haven medical spa has been suddenly closed under a mortgage foreclosure. Macatawa Bank says the owners of Be Medical Spa & Salon, 14 S. Second St., owe just over $1 million on a mortgage taken out in June 2008.

Sandi Wilson of Grand Haven is proud of her late father and his service in the U.S. Navy during World War II. She became even prouder after reading a letter her father sent home in 1943 - a letter she only came across after his death.
