The driver of a vehicle traveling the wrong way on Interstate 96 on Tuesday was arrested Thursday.

Police are looking for one of the drivers in a two-car crash that happened Thursday morning in Fruitport Township. Police said the driver left the scene on foot prior to officers arriving on the scene. He or she was driving a stolen car.

Olive Shores, the latest addition to the Ottawa County parks system, was dedicated Wednesday afternoon. The event drew about 75 visitors anxiously waiting for their chance to walk along a new landscape. The new park is on Olive Shore Drive, a half-mile off Lakeshore Drive near Port Sheldon Street in Port Sheldon Township. The big draw is its 738 feet of unspoiled Lake Michigan shoreline. Ottawa County Parks Director John Scholtz said the location was selected because of the amount of unspoiled lake access.
