Despite the temperature ups and downs and the lack of rain, everything came out OK, at least for Howard and Sharon Behm of Behm Blueberry Farms, located at the corner of M-45 and 144th Avenue in Grand Haven Township. "We were actually up a bit' from last year, Howard said. "We had a pretty good crop.' "We were scared,' he said. "We felt really blessed we picked the crop we did.'

Fishing is starting to recover after storms and high winds moved through the state and cooler water temperatures are occurring. The Great Lakes continue to be the premier spots but if you visit the inland lakes you may be able to capitalize on the recovering conditions.
