Dozens of people in West Michigan and plane passengers from several states have been contacted after health officials learned they may have been exposed to measles through an 8-month-old from the Battle Creek area.
The 2013 Grand Haven-area Relay for Life kicked off at 3 p.m. Friday. It continues through 3 p.m. Saturday at White Pines Middle School to benefit the American Cancer Society, and celebrate cancer survivors and remember loved ones who it took from us. Tribune photos by Ben Perfect.
Doug of Grand Haven asked, "I think many cemeteries have what are called Potter's Field, where they bury either the very poor or unknown people. Does Grand Haven's Lake Forest Cemetery have one of those?"
