One of the things I like best about the Christmas season is singing the Christmas carols. The other day, as I was paging through the Christmas section of our church hymnal, I was impressed by how often the word “Emmanuel” appears. Two of the best known are “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel” and “O Little Town of Bethlehem.”
