Police have identified their suspect in a racial slur incident in Grand Haven. Grand Haven Public Safety Director Jeff Hawke said they've identified a 56-year-old Grand Haven man as the likely culprit.

The Fruitport Old Fashioned Days Car Show, hosted by the Royal Corvettes of Western Michigan, will start at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, May 27, at Fruitport Middle School, 3113 E. Pontaluna Road. Registration is from 8:30-10:30 a.m. for a fee of $10 per vehicle. Judging is from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Trophies will be awarded at 2 p.m. This is a NCCC-sanctioned event. All makes and models are welcome.
