Three Zeeland men were hospitalized after their sport utility vehicle went under a semitrailer at a Holland Township intersection on Monday, police said.
Police said the accident happened shortly after 6:15 p.m. when Amrit Mundy, 23, of Brampton, Ontario, Canada, drove his semitrailer truck through a red light on southbound U.S. 31 at Quincy Street. Sgt. Brian Buter of the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department said the empty semitrailer was struck by a 2006 Mitsubishi
Endeavor being driven east through the intersection by 67-year-old Ron Sisouphone of Zeeland.
