Coopersville man crashes pickup into semi

Mooney sustained a head injury in the accident and was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, where he was in stable condition as of Monday afternoon, Wolffis said. Mooney was wearing a seat belt.

Entrican was not injured in the accident, Wolffis said.

At the time of the crash, Mooney had two dogs in his pickup. One was found at the scene and was severely injured.

The other dog, a black Labradoodle named Bo, was seen running east on Arthur Street, Wolffis said. The dog had not been found as of this morning.
