Each Harbor Transit bus is outfitted with a lift, if required, and is ADA compliant. The parking area is just a short distance to the Park & Ride Shuttle pickup and drop-off location.
The shuttle will take riders from Harbor Island to the intersection of Washington Avenue and Third Street. This location is only one block from the Arts and Craft Fair and across the street from the carnival, and only three blocks to the waterfront activities.
Follow the parking directional signs and lighted message boards along U.S. 31 to the site.
You can also tune your radio to 1630 AM for further information throughout the festival, and especially on Saturday regarding the Park & Ride Shuttle service.
The fee for the Park & Ride is $2 per vehicle, plus $1 for up to two riders or $3 for three or more riders. No one vehicle will pay more than $5, with 40 percent of the fees being donated to a local charity in return for them serving at the Park & Ride site. Harbor Transit receives the rest of the fee to offset personnel and fuel expenses.
The Park & Ride Shuttle service runs from 9 a.m. until after the fireworks.
