"I couldn't breathe," he said. "I got out."
Fire Chief Gary Dreyer said the mobile home was fully involved in fire when his department arrived. Several area fire departments were called to assist with manpower and tankers.
Once the fire was knocked down, firefighters used hooks and axes to break up what was left of the building in order to put out any hot spots.
Mitchell said he did not know how the fire started.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
