The suspects ran into a townhouse in the complex just before police arrived. Holland Police officers set up a perimeter around the suspect residence and called the suspects out. The suspects complied and were taken into custody.

A search of the residence yielded what is believed to be stolen items from several recent break-ins in the area, police said.

The suspects, both of Holland, were arrested and lodged in connection with the incident. The adult is charged with one count of breaking and entering, and a probation violation. The juvenile was lodged at the Allegan County Youth Home for one count of breaking and entering, and one count of home invasion.

Police said detectives are continuing to investigate the case and may be seeking additional charges in the future.
