Timothy Lee Walworth, 38, of Allendale was driving his 2003 Harley-Davidson motorcycle west on North Cedar Street in Robinson Township about 11:18 a.m. when he lost control in the area of a curve near 128th Avenue, struck a ditch and flipped over, said Sgt. Steve Austin of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department.

Walworth was not injured; but a passenger — Stephanie Walworth, 41, also of Allendale — was taken by ambulance to North Ottawa Community Hospital, Austin said. She was listed in fair condition this morning, a hospital spokesperson said.

Robinson Township firefighters assisted at the scene.

In a separate incident, Roger Lee Maynard, 64, of Holland was injured when his motorcycle struck a dog about 12:17 p.m. Sunday in Crockery Township.

Austin said Maynard was northbound on 112th Avenue, north of Taft Street, when a black Lab ran in front of him. Maynard struck the dog, lost control of his 2008 Yamaha motorcycle and struck the pavement, Austin said.

Maynard was transported by ambulance to North Ottawa Community Hospital, where he was in fair condition this morning, a hospital official said.

The dog did not survive.

Crockery Township firefighters assisted at the scene.
