The woman, whose name was not released by police, was driving south on Third Street at 3:15 p.m. when she stopped at the stop sign at Columbus Avenue, then proceeded forward and into the path of the truck, Grand Haven Department of Public Safety Sgt. Glenn Bo said. The truck was eastbound on Columbus at the time.

The driver of the delivery truck, a 33-year-old man from Fraser, told police he tried to swerve to avoid the crash, but couldn’t. After the initial impact, the truck drove into the parking lot of First Reformed Church, on the southeast corner of the intersection, and hit two other cars.

No one was injured in the crash, according to Bo.
