Jamie Lee Poledore, 32; and Robert Aaron Meeks, 27, were both arraigned in Ottawa County District Court in Holland and lodged in the Ottawa County Jail.

Poledore, who Lt. Mark Bennett of the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department said had been living in Holland Township but most recently lived in Grand Rapids, was also charged with being an habitual offender, fourth notice.

Poledore is being held on a $50,000 cash bond, Bennett said Friday night, and Meeks is jailed on a $5,000 10-percent bond. Both are next due in court on April 19.

Bennett said a detective was driving south in an unmarked car on 120th Avenue, south of Fillmore Street in Olive Township, at around 1 p.m. Wednesday when he noticed two suspicious men entering a home. Circling back, the detective witnessed the suspects carrying items out of the house and placing them into a vehicle.

The detective called for Sheriff's Department deputies, who took the two suspects into custody without incident, Bennett said.

Several articles of stolen property were recovered from the suspects' vehicle, and Bennett said the Sheriff's Department has contacted other area law enforcement agencies to see if the suspects might have been involved in similar incidents in West Michigan. As of late Friday, Bennett said there were no other charges pending.
