400+ arrested in DUI crackdown

Police announced the totals on Monday, including 79 charged under the state's tougher "super drunk" law. Michigan's legal limit is a blood alcohol level of 0.08 percent. The "super drunk" designation is 0.17 percent or more.
Law enforcement officers from more than 165 agencies conducted stepped-up enforcement aimed at curtailing drunken driving during the "Drunk Driving. Over the Limit. Under Arrest." crackdown March 13 to April 2. This resulted in more than 8,000 traffic stops and nearly 4,000 citations or arrests.
