Bullets fly in Norton Shores; sparks fear in residents

Norton Shores Police Chief Daniel Shaw said a dark-colored SUV fired the shots at a red sedan parked at a gas pump. The incident occurred at about 1:14 a.m. Monday.

The SUV fled the station and drove south on Henry Street. The driver of the car was inside the gas station when the shots were fired. The car driver then fled the scene, going east on Sherman Boulevard, before police arrived.
