Besides the jail time, Keech was ordered to pay $3,400 in restitution, and fines and costs of $2,098. She was also put on probation for one year.

While in jail, she will be allowed to participate in work release.

Keech was one of three people charged in connection with the September 2011 fire at 17399 Greenspire Drive in the Country Estates Mobile Home Park. The park is at the corner of 148th Avenue and State Road in Spring Lake Township.

Kevin Paul Sudeikis, 29, of Allegan was sentenced in mid-April to a year's probation and payment of $3,400 in restitution after pleading guilty to attempted arson of insured property in the same case. He was also ordered to pay fines and costs of $547.

Also in connection with the arson, Nicole June Keech, 21, of Twin Lake is scheduled to face trial starting June 27. She has also been charged with arson of insured property.

Firefighters were called at about 8:45 p.m. Sept. 16, 2011, after neighbors saw smoke coming from the mobile home, according to Capt. Brian Sipe of the Spring Lake Township Fire Department. Firefighters were forced to extinguish the fire from the outside, but were able to get it out within an hour, Sipe said.

Nobody was home at the time of the fire. The mobile home was considered a total loss.

At the time, Sipe said it was not believed to be a suspicious fire.
