Todd Allen Glockzin, 43, will start serving his 60-day jail sentence on Thursday.

Glockzin was sentenced Monday in Ottawa County District Court on a charge of operating while intoxicated. He could be released from jail after five days if he is approved for the in-home surveillance program.

Glockzin was also put on probation for 18 months and ordered to pay $1,245 in fines and costs.

Police said Glockzin’s pickup truck drove off Mercury Drive in Grand Haven Township shortly after 10 p.m. April 6, and rolled down an embankment and into a swampy area near the Grand River at Millhouse Bayou.

Glockzin and a passenger both suffered minor injuries in the crash.
