ANSWER:

You'll be able to ride the bus again this year, Kortney.

The Harbor Transit park-and-ride and all-area shuttle will be operating all day and night on Saturday, Aug. 3. It's $1 a ride.

All-area shuttle service can pick you up at Griffin and Ferry elementary schools, Trinity Reformed Church, and First Christian Reformed Church in Grand Haven; at Ferrysburg City Hall; and at Spring Lake Presbyterian Church and Harvest Bible Chapel in Spring Lake; and drops you off at Third Street and Columbus Avenue in downtown Grand Haven.

Park-and-ride: Park on Harbor Island for $5 per vehicle and take the bus to Washington Avenue. A portion of the money will go to a local nonprofit organization.

The bus services will begin at 9 a.m. and run after the fireworks show.

Remember that coolers, strollers, lawn chairs and such may not occupy a seat; you must be able to handle such carry-ons yourself.
