Ferrysburg lights?

She continued: "If so, how long has it been and why did they stop? I remember my parents packing us kids in the car when I was younger to drive out there and see the lights."


I remember that awesome light display, too. It was not far from the fuel terminals, right?

Ferrysburg City Manager Craig Bessinger said the homeowner who lived in the 200 block of Evergreen St., near Bilz Plumbing on Second Street, used to have a large light display. That's probably the one we're remembering.

Bessinger said he's not sure why the display was switched off, but the husband died a few years ago. I tried calling the listed phone number for the house, but it's been oddly "busy" for nearly a week.
