Voters in the Grand Haven school district will decide on two bond proposals:
— Proposal 1 would fund technology and site improvements, roof replacements, and buses, in which the district would borrow up to $36 million to fund.
— Proposal 2 would fund athletic facilities, performing arts facilities and cafeterias, in which the district would borrow up to $9.69 million to fund. However, Prop 2 would only be implemented if Prop 1 is also approved, and the total new property tax levy would then be up to 4.17 mills.
Voters in the Spring Lake school district will also decide on two bond proposals today:
— Proposal 1 would include work on the elementary schools, in which the district would borrow up to $49.8 million to fund.
— Proposal 2 would include athletic facility improvements, in which the district would borrow up to $4.47 million to fund.
The Grand Haven district's non-exempt property operating millage is also on today's ballot for renewal.
