Salmon Festival Fish Boil

The Fish Boil opened up the 2012 Grand Haven Salmon Festival on Friday night at the Municipal Marina.

Customers were served (on compostable plates) boiled salmon, potatoes, corn on the cob and a roll, with ladles of butter drizzled on top.

Festivities continue Friday night with an entertainment tent. On Saturday, there is a slew of activities including the Big King Fishing Contest, Art Fair, Wine Tasting and Salmon Cookoff, Kids Zone, entertainment tent and museum exhibit on commercial fishing. A fall hike is planned Sunday at Kitchel-Lindquist Dunes Preserve.
