What many say is the highlight of the Grand Haven Coast Guard Festival, U.S. Coast Guard brass and community leaders honored Coast Guard personnel who "passed over the bar" in the past year in the National Memorial Service, Friday at Escanaba Park.
Four members of a helicopter crew that were killed when it crashed during a training exercise were honored as fallen heroes on Friday.
